Instead of working in a linear process I've decided to take all of the pieces I've accumulated over the past few weeks and compile them in a semi-transparent, layered 8.5 x 11 document. I like the idea of digital and analog as being one and the same - that they are layered and complex and both need each other to exist, much like order and chaos. Order springs from chaos and chaos from order, and it's this cycle...however I'm not sure you get that message from this image, unless the title led you in that direction...
I'm not sure whether to print this or display it (digitally) on a projector.
Also I'm afraid the Photoshopping looks too Photoshoppy...thoughts?

I do think you need to print this not project it. The work has moved from a conceptual project towards a more romantic one and therefore needs a physical present that divorces itself a bit from the technology. It needs to be an object.
ReplyDeleteIf you think it looks to photoshoped then go back and rework it to display the info without the effects.
also, pay attention to the details in the darks when you print. those detials are sometimes hard to keep.
